Collection: SKIN1004

SKIN1004, stocked in Canada and shipped from Markham, Ontario. Prices are in CAD and there is nothing to pay at the door.

SKIN1004 does one thing, which is why we like it: centella asiatica from Madagascar, running through nearly the whole range. Centella has the strongest evidence base of any calming botanical for soothing and supporting damaged skin, and this is the brand that built itself around it rather than adding it as a marketing note.

If your skin is currently stinging, flaking or reacting to products it used to tolerate, this is the shelf to start with.

What to use when

  • Cleansing — the Light Cleansing Oil for first cleanse, the Ampoule Foam for second. Both are gentle enough for a compromised barrier, which is rare in a cleanser.
  • Ampoules — the Madagascar Centella Ampoule is the straightforward calming layer. The Probio-Cica Intensive Ampoule adds probiotic ferments. The Tea-Trica Relief Ampoule is the version for oilier, congestion-prone skin.
  • Moisturiser — the Probio-Cica Enrich Cream is our most-recommended barrier repair cream. Enough lipid content to actually rebuild, light enough not to congest.
  • Toner — the Tea-Trica Purifying Toner, for skin that is both reactive and congested.
  • Retinol — the Centella Retinol 0.2 Boosting Shot Ampoule is a genuinely sensible beginner retinoid, buffered with centella. Twice a week to start, on a barrier that is not already compromised.
  • Masks and kits — sheet masks, the Travel Kit and the Ampoule Kit if you would rather sample before committing.

Where to start

Reactive, stinging skin: the Madagascar Centella Ampoule plus the Probio-Cica Enrich Cream. Oily and congested: the Tea-Trica line. Ready for a first retinoid: the Retinol 0.2 Boosting Shot.
